FAP (Flirtatiousness and Politeness) is a contemporary dance-based work that examines aspects of flirtation and intimacy in Malay dance. It leads into an exploration of libidinal elements in terms of sexual arousal (berahi). This work will draw inspiration from the 1911 Malay sex manuscript by Khatijah Terung. Performed and conceptualised by Norhaizad Adam and Hasyimah Harith, a married Muslim couple and traditional Malay dancers from Singapore.
